As the Director of Community and Employee Relations, Kris is responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the human resources function and establishing a vision and direction for the full complement of core human capital programs, policies and services. This includes providing leadership and direction in the development of HR policies that promote maximum effectiveness while supporting our mission. 

Kris has earned her AAS in Aging Services Management from DMACC and has 20+ years of experience in all aspects of geriatric facility operations. Kris’s background includes: social service, activities, community and Employee Relations. We pride ourselves on Kris’s extensive experience and education with coaching,training, process improvement, compliance, and consulting.   One of Kris’s true passions is working with the resident and families on educating and ensuring they understand the different levels of care and the process as well as being the outlet for our staff.

Our goal is to make Assisted Living accessible to seniors in Ankeny, with the ability to stay close to family and friends and develop an incredible support system of new and old relationships.
