Administrator
My name is Brodey Hanson and I have had the pleasure of being The Bridges at Ankeny’s Administrator.
Born and raised in Albany, Illinois, I graduated from Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa in 2011 with a B.S. in Healthcare Administration and a focus in Long Term Care. In 2013, I completed my M.B.A. I started my healthcare career as an Aide and EMT for nearly 5 years prior to transitioning into Healthcare Finance for Trinity Senior Living Communities overseeing 181 beds that included: skilled care, long-term care and dementia care.
Prior to The Bridges at Ankeny, I was the Administrator at Regency Care Center &Assisted Living in Norwalk, IA. During my tenure, we cleared Special Focus Survey from the Department of Inspections and Appeals as well as earned two different quality awards: The Quality Initiative Program Award from the Iowa Healthcare Association and the Bronze Quality Award from the American Healthcare Association.
I have worked directly with patients and residents in a variety of settings—skilled nursing, hospital, community base, etc, but my passion has always been long-term care. I feel an overwhelming responsibility to advocate for the aging population and believe it was my calling. It’s my great pleasure to help ensure that each and every resident receives the very best care possible.
If you see a black lab running around the facility with me, her name is Lexi and she is a licensed therapy dog for the residents. I rescued Lexi roughly 5 years ago and she has enjoyed coming to work with me getting to know all of the residents and their families.
If you take away anything from this biography, it’s very important to me that you know I have an open door policy. Any time you have a praise, concern or problem, I am only a visit or phone call away. Whether you’re a resident, employee or family member, I truly want your experience at The Bridges at Ankeny to not only meet but exceed your expectations. If there is anything you need, please let me know. I will be glad to help in any way I can.
